The Gentle Knight ~ Ashley York

I was enthralled from the beginning. I could not put this book down even if I tried. This poor young lady is whisked away, by her uncle, at her father’s dying wish, to a Priory. Since he could not secure a betrothal he had decided to send to nun.

She was being escorted to the priory when along the way she was being mistreated by her so called protectors (Men her uncle hired) Along came Sir Peter, but could she trust this man? Was he like the rest, rude and continually lurking at her?

The story is great, plot thick, and the characters feel alive. I wanted so badly to be in this book. I felt every character had a story. You knew them and either liked or disliked them. There was action, mystery, lies, and betrayal. You cannot go wrong with this book.

I cannot wait for the next book to come out. Knowing these last two books, I can only imagine what fun and adventure Ashley York will take me on.

Legend of the Fae ~ April Holthaus

Ella of Andor, the Fae Princess of Darkness embarks on a journey that would ensure her kingdom’s victory as prophesied.

Laird Galen Graham stumbles upon an injured woman in desperate need of protection and care.

I really liked this story. Ella is complex and yet hardened of heart but not soul, and Galen is a lost soul looking for the right woman to complete his life. They both need and want happiness in their own ways but battle of their own might get in the way. I love the side characters, and the dog. This is a good journey and you get to see the fae world, the good vs evil kind of stuff. This will be a great adventure, a battle to end all battles and I cannot wait to read what happens next.

There seems to be a disconnect between the writer and the written word. I could not feel the story in my heart. Don’t get me wrong the story and plot are great, and I cannot wait for the next book. I just didn’t feel what the characters felt. But it did not stop me from reading or wanting to know what happened next.

His Captive Princess ~ Sandra Jones
This story had a good plot and written well. Lots of twists and turns. Learning who you trust is not always the right one. That maybe your enemy is the one to trust. It an adventure and you ride the wave.

Warren and Princess Eleri bicker great (One of my fav things H/H do), one wants to die to save his family honor, the other doesn't want him to die, for it might bring another's death. I absolutely would suggest to read this book. Give it a try, give this author a try.

Be a part of a story, run, fight, play dead. You cannot go wrong with this book.

My Seductive Innocent ~ Julie Johnstone

Wow, what a book. So much fun and both H/H having the same up bringing of sorts and yet have two different views of love. Their is twists, Betrayal, Action, One from high society, and another low born. You feel the characters, their journeys, and their own trials. If you want to read a good book. You know the kind that make you laugh, cry, on the edge of your seat, read this one.
